Perceptions of Promise Artists' Talk #2
Perceptions of Promise: Biotechnology, Society and Art is an interdisciplinary and collaborative project that brings together a group of internationally recognized artists, scientists, legal scholars and social commentators to explore the complex legal, ethical and social issues associated with advancements made in life science technologies. From original artworks and scholarly articles to a touring exhibition with stops in Calgary, Hamilton, New York City and, now, Edmonton, Perceptions of Promise is an innovative project with multiple outputs exploring the rise of biotechnology and its impact on the public.
Join us for our FREE lunch-hour talks in the gallery space at Enterprise Square and hear from the artists themselves about the artworks in Perceptions of Promise and the creative and complex ideas that lie behind them.
